Pressure transmitter with ceramic and metallic sensors
The device is used for the following measuring tasks:
• Absolute pressure and gauge pressure measurement in gases, steams or liquids in all areas of process engineering and process measurement technology
• Level, volume or mass measurements in liquids
• High process temperature – without diaphragm seals up to 130 °C (266°F), for a maximum of 60 minutes 150 °C (302°F) – with diaphragm seals up to 400 °C (752°F)
• High pressure up to 400 bar (6000 psi)
• International usage thanks to a wide range of approvals.
• Very good reproducibility and long-term stability
• High reference accuracy: up to ±0.15%,as PLATINUM version: ±0.075%

The Cerabar PMP51 digital pressure transmitter with metal membrane is typically used in process and hygiene applications for pressure, level, volume or mass measurement in liquids or gases. PMP51 is designed for high pressure applications up to 400bar. Quick Setup with adjustable measuring range allows simple commissioning, reduces costs and saves time. SIL2 according to IEC 61508 and IEC 61511.
