Pressure transmitter with ceramic measuring cells
The Cerabar S pressure transmitter is used for the following measuring tasks:
• Absolute pressure and gauge pressure in gases, steams or liquids in all areas of process engineering and process measurement technology
• Level, volume or mass measurement in liquids
• High process temperature – without diaphragm seals up to 150°C (302°F) – with typical diaphragm seals up to 400°C (752°F)
• High pressure up to 700 bar
• International usage thanks to a wide range of approvals
• Very good reproducibility and long-term stability
• High reference accuracy: up to ±0.075%, as PLATINUM version: ±0.05%
• Turn down 100:1, higher on request
• Used for process pressure monitoring up to SIL3, certified according to IEC 61508 by TÜV SÜD

The Cerabar PMC71 digital pressure transmitter with capacitive, oil-free ceramic measuring cell is typically used in the process and hygienic applications for pressure, level, volume or mass measurement in liquids and gases. It guarantees high degree of system safety thanks to vacuum-proof ceramic membrane with integrated breakage detection. Quick Setup with adjustable measuring range allows simple commissioning, reduces costs and saves time. SIL2/3 according to IEC 61508.
